Jon Hamrick
BA, MBA
Jon Hamrick is an accomplished Senior Executive Advisor and Thought Leader with extensive executive leadership experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, specialty pharmacy and pharma services. Jon joined the founders of Therigy as one of three Principal Partners in 2011, and in his role as Therigy’s President and Chief Operating Officer Jon led Therigy’s reorganization, the creation of a new product management function and the company’s transition to an AGILE software development methodology. He also oversaw the transition of Therigy’s technology infrastructure to AWS. Other Therigy roles included Chief Strategy Officer with responsibility for the company’s Biotech and Specialty Services. He oversaw Therigy’s business unit responsible for biopharma strategic consulting services, technology enabled services, outcomes and quality programs through Therigy’s successful sale to CPS Solutions in 2019.
Before joining Therigy, Jon was Vice President of Business Development at Priority Healthcare. While in this role Jon pioneered programs in specialty distribution, 3PL, specialty pharmacy network design, development and implementation, and patient support services programs. After Priority Healthcare’s acquisition he went on to be a senior member of the leadership team at CuraScript, a subsidiary of Express Scripts. His experience includes tenure in the medical device space as an executive with Access MediQuip as well as 12 years at Pfizer where he held sales, sales management, government affairs and payor roles.
Jon is a successful healthcare investor and is an experienced board member. Jon was an independent board member of Specialty Pharmacy Nursing Network, a home infusion services company backed by HealthEdge Investment Partners, until its successful sale to OptionCare (Nasdaq:OPCH) in 2022. He also serves on the board of Community Supports, Inc. a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit dedicated to serving the aged and the developmentally disabled patients in Florida.
A serial entrepreneur, Jon has invested in the health and wellness segment and is the owner of Functional Fitness Holdings, a developer and operator of fitness franchises in Florida.
Jon earned his BA degree in history from the University of Central Florida, and an MBA from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business. Prior to entering the healthcare industry, he served as a U.S. Marine Corps infantry officer.
